We receive at least 1-2 emails each day from people trying to find free dental care. Unfortunately, we are not in a position to directly provide this service, but wherever possible we do try to help out.
In a previous post, How to Find Free or Low Cost Dental Care, we listed 6 fantastic resources for locating free/affordable dental care.
In this post, we’ll be expanding on this list and pointing you to even more great resources to check out if you’re looking for low cost or free dental care.
Free Dental Care Resources
1. Free Dental Care Finder – 1dental.com offers a neat little zip code tool that will allow you to find local organizations offering free dental care.
2. Freedentalcare.us – This site offers a search feature and will even allow you to upload your story so that dentists in your are can contact you if they can help.
3. Dentistryfromtheheart.org – Check out a number of upcoming free dental care events taking place across the country. This great organization claims to have provided over 50,000 people with free dental care services.
4. Health Resources & Services Organization (HRSA) – Check out the HRSA Health Center Finder. You’ll find federally-funded health centers offering free or very low cost healthcare services. You pay what you can afford.
5. Dental Charities – Don’t be too proud to ask a dental charity for help – that’s what they are there for. Here’s a good list of charities to get you started.
